Combining the image of a protective hilltop, Pueblo Indian village with a modern, airy Arizona design creates a home of beauty and utility with a deep sense of place. Strongly anchored to the steep hillside, the home is sheltering and soaring. The home consists of 4 suites, a den, a studio and a casita for the home theater.

The interiors are sleek, light-filled and abstract yet warm, elegant and designed for family living. The 12 foot tall by 18 foot wide sliding pocket doors open the great room to the pool, the barbeque and massive cliffs to the east.

Interior finishes include earth-toned, epoxied-coated concrete floors, veneer-plaster walls, fir ceilings, cherry

doors and cabinets, granite and concrete counters, stainless steel fixtures combined with bronzed metal windows, gates and other metal work. The epoxied concrete floors flow outside to all patios and the entry stairs. The pool continues the home design’s sculptural art and includes a fountain flowing from a red rock privacy wall into the koi pond. While inside, a completely built-in, see-through salt-water fish tank provides living wall art for the den and dining area.
